Is-sinjal għal UFFIĊJAL TAT-TIFI TAN-NAR magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti ż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ Ġ bid-dirgħajn mimdudin u bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. Id waħda titqiegħed ftit iktar ’il quddiem u fil-ġenb mill-oħra. L-idejn jiġu qishom qed iżommu pajp oħxon u tqil ’il fuq. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal NAR. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħ ftit ikkurvat u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-idejn jitilgħu u jinżlu waħda waħda bis-swaba’ jperpru.
The sign for FIREMAN consists of two parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands in the shape of Ġ with arms lying horizontally and palms facing upwards. One hand is placed more forward and to the side than the other. (ii)The second part is the sign for FIRE. The two hands take the shape of open, slightly curved 5 with the palms facing inwards. The hands move up and down in turn and the fingers flutter.
